TTF Theatricals

Since 2013, TTF has developed and performed new, epic plays.  From workshops and readings, to fully staged productions, TTF is proud to help re-envision myths and legends in a modern light.

At present, TTF Theatricals is on-line until it's safe to gather together in person again.

MUSE Workshop

Picture
The MUSE Program is an open workshop for playwrights to develop their work, scene by scene, while actors can hone their cold-reading skills.

We are especially looking to give development space to scenes from BIPOC and womxn playwrights.  We are also actively casting BIPOC and womxn actors.

To be considered for a future MUSE, email Chris Rivera at ttfassociateartisticdirector@gmail.com

From our residency in New York City, to working internationally on Zoom, TTF is thrilled to continue to give development space to epic new theatre, celebrating a diversity of voices.  Facilitated by Chris Rivera.

Staged Readings

Since 2014, TTF has given development space to 30 new plays - from feminist takes on Shakespearean tragedies, to new farces in rhyming couplets.  Coming in 2020, keep an eye out for new plays inspired by Titus Andronius, the myth of Cassandra, and more!

Beyond the Ingenue

In 2019, TTF took the development of vibrant roles for womxn one step further, with the inaugural Beyond the Ingenue (BTI).  Gathering over 20 womxn and allies, TTF paired playwrights with actors to develop roles that defied stereotypes and celebrated the light of each performer.  While BTI was unfortunately cancelled in 2020, it will return in person or on-line for 2021!

Productions

Since our inaugural production of Emily C. A. Snyder's Cupid and Psyche, TTF has proudly given full and workshop productions to new plays written in modern verse and heightened language.  Keep an eye out for a stunning production of Chris Rivera's Our Own Odyssey as soon as theatres re-open!
